If u have oily skin get a sample first .. I have oily skin and I tried it 4x and it makes my face way way more oily and it breaks down the foundry.. what might work for some might not work for all!! I was hoping to light it since so much hype around this foundation.. but it’s not for everyone so just a little tip get a sample first!!

I bought that kit at TJMaxx for $99! I couldn’t pass it up. It retails for $299.

As a makeup artist I am telling you that's not full coverage! I would consider that a light to medium buildable coverage! It is very lovely however. But it's definitely not full coverage. One of the most full coverage foundation that I have personally seen over the years would have to go to "Good Apple" Full-Coverage Serum Foundation! It's a beautiful full coverage foundation! But it's absolutely not for those with dry skin however! If you have oily skin you will love it! If you have the rare "Normal Skin" 😂 you will also like it! But for my dry skin friends it will show every patch that you have! I would consider this foundation stick that she's using acceptable for dry skin people. But just know that you have to really moisturize and hydrate your skin before you use it. A primer is not always necessary keep that in mind despite what people will tell you. It really depends on the look you're going for your skin type if you need a primer or not. But please don't think that buying this is going to be full coverage and that it will cover ever imperfection or scar on your face because this one is not meant for that! The good apple however will if you have the skin type that is suitable to use it with!

You can still get a good moisturizer with SPF in, saves layering product on product clogging pores. I use Elemis. Although when I'm on holiday, i will put on a mineral sunscreen on top

I am so happy I found your videos. I have never found a foundation that suits my skin because it's so hard to match, but after finding you it has changed! We have basically the same complexion and any time you have recommended a shade or a combination of shades it has looked amazing (better than getting colour matched at MAC or Sephora!) If you were to wear the HD Skin Liquid Foundation by Makeup Forever, what shades would you pick for yourself? I want to try this for my wedding, but am worried about getting colour matched since no one has been able to figure out a combo that works for me.
